The Legend series headache rack is designed specifically for your truck model and year, will work with your cross-bed toolbox and will fit into place with minimal drilling or modification to your truck bed. Simply install into the forward-most stake pockets, bolt to your bed and go. The louvered center section is also easy to remove and provides extra protection or increased visibility depending on the task at hand.

Will this headache rack fit my truck?
Ranch Hand headache racks are designed for vehicle-specific application. To verify fitment with your particular year, make and model, use the vehicle lookup or the headache rack application guide.
Does installation require drilling?
Yes, but we utilize the existing stake pockets to reduce the amount of drilling needed to add extra stability. Necessary hardware for the installation comes with the mounting brackets, which are sold separately.
Are these racks compatible with tool boxes?
Yes, we offer one bracket design that can be utilized for standard installation or tool box installation. They are compatible with most tool boxes.
Are these racks compatible with tonneau covers?
Yes, our headache racks are compatible with select tonneau covers, including most inside-rail mounted covers. Confirm fitment before purchase.
Do lighted racks come with wiring?
Ranch Hand lighted headache racks come standard with both the lighting and harness to connect to the vehicle’s power system.
Can aftermarket lights be installed on these racks?
Yes, we offer various light brackets (HRLBS100, HRLBC100, HRLBCU100) that can be mounted to the rack, allowing for installation of most lightning needs — work lights and off-road lights (strobe, beacon, light bars, cube lights, etc). Our racks also have holes cut in the tubing to allow for the installer to run the wiring through the frame so the lights can function while maintaining a clean look.
Are there both open and closed window designs available?
Yes, each headache rack comes with a center insert that can be installed and uninstalled, depending on if the end user is looking for better cab protection or higher visibility / rear window access.
