BIOGRAPHY WRITE UP: MICAH EVELAND - TEAM ROPER

Micah Eveland is a professional team roper. He was raised in Backus in Central Minnesota. He attended River-Backus High School where he first learned to rodeo. He was the 2005, 2006, and 2007 State Team Roping and Steer Wrestling Champion. From 2005 – 2007, he qualified for the National High School Finals Rodeo where he finished 18th in the world. After high school, Micah attended Minnesota School of Horse Shoeing in Anoka, Minnesota. He continued team roping at an amateur level and became a 10-time qualifier for the Minnesota Rodeo Finals. Micah currently lives in Backus with his wife Chelsea and their three children - Leah, Carter, and Trey. They love to travel, going to 50 – 70 rodeos a year. Micah now holds his Pro Card with the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association and enjoys competing at the Pro level. Last season was a solid one for Micah, with a big win at Pine City, MN. During the competition he set the arena record. Micah loves the protection that Ranch Hand bumpers provide to himself and his family during his travels. He has been a steadfast believer in Ranch Hand products since his high school days.
