Q ) ARE YOUR PRODUCTS AVAILABLE IN CUSTOM COLORS ?
A) From the factory, our products are finished with a durable gloss black powder
coat or a matte black hammertone finish. We do not powder coat custom colors.
Q) WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A LEGEND AND SUMMIT GRILLE GUARD?
A) The only difference between the two is the Summit grille guard will not have
the punched grill insert in front of the factory grill to allow you to install
optional off road lights. It will have light tabs welded into this area.
Otherwise they will look very similar.
Q) WILL YOU SELL DIRECT FROM THE FACTORY?
A) We only sell to dealers unless you do not have a dealer within 100 miles of
you. Buying from your nearest dealer will save you money on freight in the long
run.
Q) WILL YOUR PRODUCTS ACCEPT WINCHES?
A) Our winch ready front bumpers and Bullnose front ends allow you to mount a
winch inside the bumper. Our standard front ends and Bullnose front ends have a
2” receiver for use with a removable winch cradle. Our Summit Series Front
Bumpers also have an option of an H2R receiver available. Our winch ready front
ends are designed to accept Warn ® brand winches.
Q) WILL YOUR PRODUCTS INTERCHANGE BETWEEN MAKES AND MODELS?
A) Our products are make and model specific. Fords will only fit Fords, Dodge
will only fit Dodge, and so on.
Chevy will not fit GMC products with the exception of back bumpers. When the
body style changes, so does the mounting and there is not a mounting kit to
retrofit.
Q) WHAT IS THE DROP ON YOUR BACK BUMPERS?
A) Most of our back bumpers have a 10” drop. Some of the older models have an
8”.
Q) WITH YOUR BACK BUMPER, WILL I RETAIN MY FACTORY RECEIVER?
A) with most of our Legend back bumpers, you will retain your factory receiver,
with the exception of the Dodge back bumpers. You will keep your receiver with
all our Summit back bumpers.
Q) DO YOUR BACK BUMPERS ACCEPT BACK UP SENSORS.
A)Our newer ’08 Back Bumpers come with holes to accept back up sensors. If not
in use the holes are plugged.
Q)WILL YOUR PRODUCTS WORK WITH A BODY LIFT?
A) Our products will work with a suspension lift, NOT with a body lift.
Q)WILL I BE ABLE TO KEEP MY TOW HOOKS AND FOG LIGHT WITH YOUR FRONT BUMPERS.
A) With most of our products you will be able to keep your tow hooks and fog
lights. There are a few exceptions with older pieces.
Q) WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR PRODUCTS AND OTHER BRANDS?

today. Our products are proudly made right here in the USA – Texas to be exact.
